From today (19 March) we will be making changes in your club to follow social distancing guidelines. This is in response to updated guidelines from the government, which have been made to support people who are vulnerable or at a higher risk to infection.

What does this mean:

All social events cancelled – Wimbledon ballot will be a closed event or automated – so please register at the club if you have not done so already.

The Sauna will be closed at all times.

We ask that you do not visit our club if you have a new continuous cough or a fever or high temperature (of 37.8 degrees centigrade or higher). This also applies if a family member has these symptoms. You should self-isolate in these circumstances.

Please regularly wash and sanitise your hands.  We have sufficient supplies of hand wash/sanitiser, cleaning wipes and anti-bacterial spray in all our clubs. Please keep these in the club so all members can benefit.

We will be enforcing a maximum number of 10 people in the gym and 25 in the bar area.

All group squash coaching will finish at of the end of the day today – Individual coaching is still available.

All group junior tennis coaching will finish as of Sunday – Individual coaching is still available .

By implementing the above measures, we hope to continue to stay open to support you in your health and wellbeing journey.  We’re continuing to monitor the situation and will do everything we can to protect our members, employees and local communities. Your wellbeing and safety is our top priority.

In addition to these changes the club will be closing at the slightly earlier time of 9.30pm Weekdays from Monday 23 March and 6pm on Weekends.

At present things can change daily so we will do our very best to keep you up to date with the situation and changes.  We will remain open as long as we have staff to unlock the building and the government will let us.  Even if our social space is to close the courts and gym will remain open.

To help us all through this time as of Monday, all members will have full reciprocal usage to all areas of the club with full booking rights.

Stay healthy and thank you for your ongoing support and co-operation during this uncertain time.
